Victorian 10" wide x 4 3/4 " tall " Lobster" serving bowl from the 19 century by Josiah Wedgwood and Sons, Staffordshire England 1883
This bowl features a silver plated rim that just needs polishing (I was told it was sterling but see no mark) no loss of silver on the trim.
Seaweed transfers motifs are bright inside and out and three brightly colored lobsters as feethold up the bowl
The three lobsters are in excellent condition with NO chips, breaks or cracks. They do (see the pictures) have some color loss on the bottom where they sat The bowl itself is lovely on the outside but does have staining on the inside as seen in the pictures.
There is an impressed marked of Wedgwood on the bottom
