Champleve is an enameling technique that enamels raised surfaces on a cast brass object and then fired in a kiln. Not to be confused with cloisonné that soldiers wires in a design to a flat surface and then fills those areas with enamel.
Has some verdigris patina
The mark reads 大清乾隆年製 (Dà Qīng Qiánlóng Nián Zhì) "Made in the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing"
